Plant Hire

Transport

We provide a superior range of transport solutions including heavy haulage, bulk haulage, and water carts. 

Subdivision Construction

Substantial experience in the construction of residential and commercial subdivisions. 

Concrete

Supplying concrete from Cameron Park and a mobile batch plant, manufacturing daily up to 130mhr and 90mhr respectively.

Quarries

We supply and deliver quarry materials that are produced meeting rigorous quality control measures and specifications. 

Contract Crushing

Our modern contract crushing fleet includes track mounted and pugmill units.

Mining Services

Provide mining civil infrastructure services; from civil maintenance service agreements to coal haulage, stemming services and more. 


Rail

We offer highly qualified track crews including 52/53 track certifiers, protection officers and rail plant operators.

Landscaping

Landscaping solutions for schools, childcare centres, residential and commercial developments, open space and revegetation projects.

Site Remediation

Extensive remediation experience in civil earthworks, containment cells, capping layers, revegetation, and management and tracking of contaminated soil.


Polywelding

Emergency call-out and repair, large scale projects, specialty welding and pre-fabrication at our Mt Thorley facility.

Lachlan's Line Bridge

Commissioned by the NSW Governments’ development agency, Landcom, the pedestrian and cycleway bridge is believed to be the first of its type in the world.

The bridge is a 178m overall length, variable diameter helical steel truss bridge, curved on plan, spanning from the new Lachlan’s Line Residential Precinct on its western extremity to the North Ryde Commercial Sector and Metro Station on its eastern extremity. It traverses both Delhi Road and the M2 Motorway.

Daracon was awarded the contract for the Redevelopment of Newcastle East Public School Playground which involved removal of contaminated material.

The NSW Department of Education had previously identified the potential for contamination at Newcastle East Public School caused through the replacement of existing roofing and contaminated fill material in past projects.

Kooragang Island Waste Emplacement Facility

The Kooragang Island Waste Emplacement Facility was previously used by BHP Newcastle Steelworks as a landfill site from the late 1960’s up to 1999 when BHP ceased operations. The NSW Government took possession of the site in 2002 and has been undertaking progressive capping and related environmental improvement works to close the landfill.

Lachlan's Line Soft Landscaping

Daracon Landscaping were awarded the soft landscaping package for the Lachlan’s Line Bridge in early July 2019 to enable the specified plant species, numbers and sizes to be available for when planting works would begin in April 2020. 

The former  industrial site has been developed by Landcom to accommodate 2,700 new residences to cater for over 5,000 people. The project forms the northern end of North Ryde Station Precinct, located between North Ryde and Macquarie Park Stations. The newly installed bridge is the fist-of-its-kind with a double helix design, 170m long with over 2,700 steel plates welded together of brightly painted blue steel, weighing 335 tonnes.

Knights Centre of Excellence

Located on the corner of Bavin and Perth Road, Broadmeadow, NSW. Previously the area has been utilized for cricket and junior Rugby League matches but in recent years it has been rarely used as a consequence of it becoming waterlogged after rain events due to inadequate site grading and drainage. 

The project involves the construction of 3 full-size Rugby League fields, 2 mini fields along with 2 private and 1 public carpark and the upgrade of existing Bavin Road.

Gowrie Gates Bridge Replacement

Affectionately known by Singleton locals as the ‘Hole in the Wall’, the Gowrie Gates Bridge Replacement project involved us replacing an existing twin steel, transom top rail underbridge that carries the Main Northern Rail Line (over the New England Highway). This project was a joint-funded project with ARTC/RMS.
