After a successful partnership in 2022, Daracon Group are proud to announce they are 2023 platinum sponsors of the Newcastle University Women in Engineering (NUWiE) Club, furthering their commitment to supporting and empowering women in  construction.

NUWiE is a support network that empowers female engineering students at the University of Newcastle as they embark on their careers. Through the sponsorship, Daracon Group is committed to supporting and empowering women in construction by participating in various club activities such as International Women’s Day, careers expo, cocktail connections, networking, trivia nights and site visits.

Emma Morson, Senior HR Specialist - Compliance, Diversity, and Inclusion at Daracon Group, is a driving force behind the company's commitment to the Civil Contractors Federation NSW ‘50 by 50’ campaign.

“Equality and Diversity within our group is not just a nice to have in our organisation, it’s a necessity for us, especially as we continue to push our industry forward in this space,” she said.
