Lachlan's Line Bridge

Commissioned by the NSW Governments’ development agency, Landcom, the pedestrian and cycleway bridge is believed to be the first of its type in the world.

The bridge is a 178m overall length, variable diameter helical steel truss bridge, curved on plan, spanning from the new Lachlan’s Line Residential Precinct on its western extremity to the North Ryde Commercial Sector and Metro Station on its eastern extremity. It traverses both Delhi Road and the M2 Motorway.

MR195 Cessnock Road Flood Access (Testers Hollow)

The MR195 Cessnock Road Upgrade at Testers Hollow project involves the construction of a 670m roadway between Cliftleigh and Gillieston Heights. The project is required in order to minimise the impact on the community during flood events, in which the existing road can flood for an extended period of time.

Kooragang Island Waste Emplacement Facility

The Kooragang Island Waste Emplacement Facility was previously used by BHP Newcastle Steelworks as a landfill site from the late 1960’s up to 1999 when BHP ceased operations. The NSW Government took possession of the site in 2002 and has been undertaking progressive capping and related environmental improvement works to close the landfill.

Knights Centre of Excellence

Located on the corner of Bavin and Perth Road, Broadmeadow, NSW. Previously the area has been utilized for cricket and junior Rugby League matches but in recent years it has been rarely used as a consequence of it becoming waterlogged after rain events due to inadequate site grading and drainage. 

The project involves the construction of 3 full-size Rugby League fields, 2 mini fields along with 2 private and 1 public carpark and the upgrade of existing Bavin Road.

Pacific Highway Upgrade Lisarow - Stage 3B

Stage 3B of the Pacific Highway upgrade at Lisarow involves the widening of the existing Pacific Highway to provide two lanes in each direction between Parsons Road and Ourimbah Street, Lisarow, a length of approximately 1.6 kilometres in the local government area of Central Coast Council.

Gowrie Gates Bridge Replacement

Affectionately known by Singleton locals as the ‘Hole in the Wall’, the Gowrie Gates Bridge Replacement project involved us replacing an existing twin steel, transom top rail underbridge that carries the Main Northern Rail Line (over the New England Highway). This project was a joint-funded project with ARTC/RMS.

Lee Wharf Seawall Upgrade

Located within the Honeysuckle Precinct Area, adjacent to Newcastle CBD, the Lee Wharf 4 and 5 project involved placing rock revetment along existing sheet pile walls to upgrade and stabilise the sea wall. We were required to ensure it was structurally suitable to support future urban development.
