Our materials are processed in accordance with Australian Standards, Local Government, State Government, and ARTC specifications. Martins Creek Quarry materials are typically used for rail construction, concrete and asphalt production, spray sealing of roads, RMS main road developments, airport developments, construction and maintenance of local roads, subdivision construction and other civil and building projects.
Processing is carried out utilising a comprehensive purpose-built fixed plant that is operated and maintained by a team of highly skilled operators, fitters and technicians. Martins Creek Quarry also has the added benefit of a rail siding, allowing train loading for ballast and aggregate deliveries throughout Newcastle, Upper Hunter, North Coast and Sydney Metropolitan areas.
Daracon is currently seeking development approval to continue the existing Quarry operations and consolidate the existing development approvals. The Project is being assessed as a State Significant Development Application (SSDA).

Located 30 minutes west of Newcastle, Buttai Quarry is a sandstone conglomerate that produces quality base, sub-base, select, rail capping, engineering, and environmental fill/capping products.
Our materials are typically utilised in RMS main road developments, local roads, subdivisions, rail environmental rehabilitation and contamination projects in the Newcastle, Central Coast and Hunter Regions.
We manufacture in accordance with Australian Standards, Local Government, State Government, and ARTC specifications. Production of material is carried out utilising Daracon owned and operated contract crushing equipment and pugmills on a campaign basis driven by market demand.

Ardglen Quarry (formerly operated by Railcorp) and has been established for over 100 years and is situated approximately 53km north of Scone. Leasing the quarry in 2004, Daracon have been in charge of care and maintenance since 2012, and during its more recent re-commissioning to help service the Scone Bypass project with material.
