The Australian rail network supported by quality rail engineering and infrastructure construction is the veins of our country. Traversing the continent to connect people and products, it is the lifeblood of many industries and individuals who rely on it daily.

Through Daracon Group’s Rail division, we are shaping efficient transportation networks through cutting-edge infrastructure and track construction, rail engineering and maintenance. Our team have extensive experience working on track and civil projects throughout the rail network, with safety and quality systems in place to ensure we deliver high-quality outcomes for your projects.

Known as Daracon Rail, our team have delivered rail engineering, maintenance and construction projects throughout NSW for over 15 years. Some of these projects have included track construction works, track reconditioning, re-railing, re-sleeping, track welding and track maintenance works  as part of scheduled rail possessions and maintenance/emergency works.   

Rail projects are often completed with tight deadlines, where contingency plans are required to successfully deliver outcomes. Our team works closely with subject matter experts, stakeholders and on-the-ground team members to ensure the safety of all involved is top-of-mind for everything we do. 

The Daracon Rail team has access to extensive plant and equipment fleet. This provides ready-to-use resources for rail network owners to service, maintain and contract works quickly and efficiently. Through our Quarry operations, our Rail division is able to source and produce high-quality rail ballast and other gravel materials for use in rail construction.

Through our subsidiary, Arenco we have collaborated and carried out extensive rail works for Railcorp, ARTC, and Transport for NSW where structures or building works have been required.
