Sophia Waters Stages 1A and 1B

Summary

Stages 1A and 1B consisted of construction of 88 lots requiring bulk earthworks, construction of lead in services, stormwater drainage, pavement, electrical services, sewer, water footpaths and retaining walls with Stage 1A requiring tie in with intersection upgrade.

Scope of Works

• Bulk earthworks for both stages inclusive of retaining walls for detailed earthworks;
• Road pavement construction including asphalt and construction of a concrete roundabout;
• Road stormwater drainage and inter allotment drainage;
• Landscaping and delivery of subdivision entrance features; and
• Low and high voltage electrical reticulation.

Achievements

• Transitioning portion of pavement works between Council and RMS; 
• Lead in electrical services being completed in conjunction with adjacent intersection upgrade;
• Rock excavation for service installation, particularly for sewer; and
• Coordinating construction works to allow early construction of display housing.
