Summary
Designed for the residents of Cliftleigh Meadows Estate, the District Park project required an install of a large recreational area that included a children’s playground, BBQ and picnic shelter, fitness track and equipment and a large open grassed area with sports posts.
Scope of Work
- Preparation and excavation of landscape areas
- Concrete works to 1183 lineal metres of pathways, pram ramps, stairs, BBQ area slab and feature paving at path intersections, plus concrete edging to soft fall zones
- Installation of a shelter, furniture and drinking fountain to picnic area
- Installation of handrails to stairs
- Installation of 597 recycled plastic bollards
- Installation of fencing and gates around playground area
- Installation of playground and fitness equipment onto soft fall zones, including a ping pong table, natural play balancing logs and steppers of varying heights
- Installation of irrigation to all nominated planted areas
- Preparation of mass-planting beds and individual trees in turf with soil, mulch, timber edging, root control barriers, mixed shrubs and trees
- Turf seed to a 5070m² kick around area, including the installation of sports posts
- Stormwater works including culverts and headwalls
