Summary

The Bungarribee Super Park installation included construction of concrete and decomposed granite walking and cycling tracks, 20 BBQs, two 50m flying foxes, giant wings, a three-story, eleven-level tree house, three sand pits, a sandstone block water play area and much more. 

Scope of Work

  • Works on extensive parklands including a network of track, playground and picnic equipment with passive outdoor facilities
  • Decomposing gravel area for vehicular and non-vehicular access, tree surrounds, picnic area and pathways
  • Sandstone water play pads; custom machine-cut quarry blocks with carved bowls and trough channels
  • Creation of earth mounds
  • Installation of soft fall surfaces and synthetic grass
  • Installation of turf, grass seeding, mass planting, and mulch covers
  • Sandstone log retaining walls
  • Cobblestone thresholds in the carpark
  • Construction and installation of a three-story treehouse with 11 internal levels for climbing and three stainless steel slides
  • Construction of an amenities building with Ranger’s Station, clad with timber and tiles, and a multi butterfly roof design
