Arenco Join Industry Leaders at Austroads Bridge Conference 2025

With a long and reputable history in bridge infrastructure, Arenco, a Daracon Group Alliance organisation is proud to be among leading voices at the upcoming Austroads Bridge Conference (ABC25). Taking place in Brisbane, Queensland from 25th - 27th June 2025. Arenco’s own Steven Williams will be representing Arenco at the conference, which marks a key event on the infrastructure calendar, bringing together industry experts, bridge practitioners, material scientists and structural engineers from across Australia and New Zealand.  

Arenco has been responsible for constructing nearly 100 bridges to date across rail, road, pedestrian, and utility applications. Amongst its most recent achievements, Arenco completed the Medlow Bath Pedestrian Bridge in the Blue Mountains 

Arenco was engaged by Transport for NSW to provide a more modern, accessible public transport facility. Working in close collaboration with architect DesignInc and engineering partner GHD, Arenco successfully delivered a visually lightweight and architecturally integrated pedestrian bridge that spans the widened Great Western Highway. The bridge design was developed to sit harmoniously within a highly sensitive heritage environment, balancing functionality with the visual and cultural character of the Blue Mountains.  

The successful outcome reflects Arenco’s deep experience in managing complex construction programs while meeting stringent design and heritage requirements.
