Scope of Work

Bulk earthworks, detailed excavation for services and footings, car park pavements and associated works for Retail Centre, Bowling Club, St Johns Oval and Day Care Centre.
Complete re-construction of existing roads; Patricia Avenue, Canberra Street, Pearson Street, Ridley Street, Ferris Street, Chapman Street, Smart Street, Hopetoun Street and Frederick Street including concrete roundabouts and the associated stormwater drainage, sewer works, footpaths etc.
All building footprint earthworks and flexible pavements.

Significant Achievements

  • Implementing a stormwater system with over 100 steel reinforced stormwater pits connecting approximately 1.5km of pipeline ranging from 375mm to an outlet of 1350mm diameter with depths of up to 6m.
  • The full construction of approx 1.2km (in total) of heavily bound pavement built to RTA spec RN73, staged appropriately whilst maintaining centre access and fluent traffic through Charlestown CBD.
  • Bulk excavation of over 30,000m3 of material including 3,000m3 of rock.
